Sentara Nightingale Regional Air Ambulance
Sentara Nightingale Regional Air Ambulance celebrated 43 years of service, completing over 25,000 accident-free missions, saving lives and precious time in our community.
Sentara Brock Cancer Center
Sentara Brock Cancer Center provided care for approximately 900 patients each day, offering 198 skin cancer screenings, preventative education, 176 prostate cancer screenings, and early-detection education.
Community Health and Wellness Fund
Community Health and Wellness Fund was established to support historically marginalized and under-resourced neighborhoods. This fund provides immediate medical and social wellness services, including food, transportation, clothing, medication assistance, housing, and safe shelter, promoting holistic community health.
Mental Health and Wellness Fund
Mental Health and Wellness Fund was launched to enhance training, education, and resources for faith-based leaders, law enforcement, and academic institutions.
This fund supports evolving community needs through progressive, holistic treatment programs, patient transportation, medication assistance, and safe shelter services, improving recovery and overall wellness.
Sentara Mobile Mammography
The Sentara Brock Cancer Center celebrated its five-year anniversary and unveiled their new 3D mammovan.
More Ways Sentara Cares
The Sentara Foundation raises funds to support communities in Southeastern and Northern Virginia as well as Northeastern North Carolina.
As part of the broader Sentara Cares initiative, we collaborate with foundations in other regions of the state and a dedicated division that manages grants and sponsorships. Together, we focus on addressing social determinants of health and enhancing the well-being of the communities we serve.
